Wool and wool blend warps for garments and rug weaving

My wool and wool blend yarn bases are sourced from a number of vendors. Lace weight, fingering and sport weight bases are suitable for both rigid heddle and multi-harness looms. I will be happy to work with you to create warps and companion skeins in any weight/length needed for your project. Lead time will depend on the current availability of base yarn. Companion skeins are also available in these sizes. Fingering weight and heavier yarns are suitable for hand and machine knitting are available as skeins.

Created using high quality base yarns and colorfast professional Lanaset dyes, these warps and companion skeins are hand dyed in my studio to inspire your creativity and bring joy to your weaving.

Apple Butter single ply wool

This is one of the base yarns I'm working with. It's a rustic, woolen spun single ply suitable for knitting, tapestry and weft, but not for warp. Sport weight 100% wool. This yarn is not chemically processed to burn out vegetable matter, so there will be occasional tiny bits of hay. Beautiful and authentically natural yarn. Available in 4 oz skeins of 430 yards.
